Ten-year-old gelding, High Patriot, by Pointmaker, out of Bird Aloft xx, has been selected by the USEF for the Eventing Winter Training List. High Patriot and his rider Mara Dean will be training under Chef d'Equipe Capt. Mark Phillips and Laura Kraut in preparation for the 2008 Olympics. High Patriot is the only US bred non-thoroughbred sport horse in the group.
